Welcome to Gutter Helmet® of the Pikes Peak Region, owned and operated by Kirt and Vicki Byerly. Our dealership serves El Paso, Pueblo, Fremont, Elbert, Otero, and Teller Counties in the Colorado Springs area.
Kirt and Vicki Byerly moved to Colorado in 2003 from Indiana with their two sons, Maxx and Jack. The Byerly’s desire to live in an inspiring, healthy, family oriented community, prompted them to follow their dreams to the sunny blue skies of Colorado. They love the outdoors and spend their weekends outside hiking, skiing, snowmobiling and fishing. The move has been a great experience for the family as well as a great challenging experience as well.
The Byerly’s have both owned and operated small businesses for several years. They have successfully owned and managed rental properties, an auto body shop and a hair salon. They are self-made and hardworking people with an entrepreneurial spirit.
Arriving in Colorado Springs, they first started, Around the House, LLC., their home improvement company. Around the House continues to offer many services such as, minor repairs, deck rebuilding, painting, and odd jobs.

Together this husband and wife team can assist you with home improvement and gutter protection needs. Their son Maxx graduated from college and has joined Kirt and Vicki in providing their customers with the best service possible. Jack has graduated in Spring 2022 and has since started his career at Gutter Helmet of The Pikes Peak Region. They are associated with some of the best sub-contractors in Colorado Springs. Kirt Byerly, owner of Gutter Helmet of the Pikes Peak Region, has been a professional in the home improvement industry for over 30 years.
Vicki Byerly works on inside sales leads, sets appointments, resolves any customer services issues, and oversees daily operations.
Maxx Byerly graduated from the Leeds School of Business in 2020, with a dual major in Finance and Accounting. In 2021 Maxx joined us in business, and is learning all aspects of the company.
Jack Byerly graduated from CU with a degree in Strategic Communication with an emphasis in Advertising, and a minor in Business. Jack has taken a leadership role, as a member of Phi Gamma Delta.

We have had the Gutter Helmet system on our gutters for many years now and this past summer the hailstorm did damage to the roof and gutters and we needed to get them replaced. Jack and his crew were very easy to work with and the installer was very helpful with my questions and installed them with no issues. Dwight SporrerJack with Gutter Helmet was amazing when we reported hail damage that required new gutter helmets. We were having trouble getting our mortgage company to accept the documentation that was being provided and Jack hung in there providing us documents until they finally accepted what we were providing them. Sharon CampbellWe had Gutter Helmet come out to our church and they did an outstanding job of repairing our gutter system and adding the Gutter Helmet hardware to our building. They were on time and finished on schedule. I believe this system is the best for the Black Forest area and its pine needles. We normally would have to clean out the gutters at least 2 times per year, usually more. We now do not have to ask for younger volunteers to go up on the roof to clean the gutters. The Chapel has been here since the late 50s, and this is one of the best improvements we have made. We should have done it a long time ago. Thank you, Gutter Helmet.

Great investment for your home. My front porch mainly faces north and we have tons of ponderosa pines. My porch is no longer an ice skating rink lol. Thank you gutter helmet!
Troy WhippleGutter Helmet identified a problem after a hail storm. They coordinated all the repairs and insurance payments. They sent a second person to verify all the repair was done to their consistency high standards. They were patient while my insurance paid the claim. If they had questions, they would immediately call. Simply outstanding!
